Are Pending Candidates Going to Receive the TVET Payment?

The Answer is no, Pending TVET candidates will not receive the TVET stipend, the payment is made for beneficiaries who were approved and their dashboards is showing registered.

Why Haven’t I Received The TVET Payment in Wallet Account Like Opay, Palmpay, Moniepoint?

The TVET Initiative Payment is being made by NELFUND STUDENT LOAN. NELFUND sometimes ago made it clear that they do not pay directly into a wallet account number because NELFUND only disburses funds to BVN-linked personal bank accounts. Wallet apps often don’t meet the verification standard required for federal financial disbursements.

NOTE: Opay, Palmpay, Moniepoint Candidates will be paid late, so don’t panic

I didn’t Attend Training Will I Receive the TVET Payment?

Yes, you will likely be paid even if you are currently not attending the program, as long as your TVET dashboard is showing registered! But in the long-run, you will likely not be paid if your training center is marking you absent. So it is essential to try and attend the training not just to receive the payment, but to have a rewarding skills that will make you your own boss in the future.

I Put a Wrong Bank Account Information, How Can I Correct it?

If your Bank accounts is wrongly entered in the TVET Initiative Payment, you may not be paid. As of now, there is no room for editing your information on the TVET portal. But you can contact the TVET Initiative customer care support with the information on the screenshots below if your information will be corrected by the TVET IT team 👇

How Much is the TVET Stipend?

The TVET Initiative Payment is ₦22,500 naira for trainees.

Is TVET Still Approving More Candidates?

Yes, TVET is still strategically approving more candidates gradually, so you should keep monitoring your dashboards for possible approval and matching.
