Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our busy establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and leading a motivated team. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and customer service.
- Supervise and motivate team members to deliver outstanding dining experiences.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the premises.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production, menu planning, and special dietary requirements.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to promote customer satisfaction.
- Monitor financial performance, including sales targets, cost control, and budgeting.
- Organise training programmes for staff development in service excellence and culinary skills.
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our brand values and enhances guest experience.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong team management and leadership capabilities to inspire staff and foster teamwork.
- Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards.
- Familiarity with food production processes, kitchen operations, and hospitality best practices.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Good communication skills to liaise confidently with staff, suppliers, and customers.
- Knowledge of barista experience or serving roles is advantageous but not essential.
- Previous hotel or culinary experience is desirable to enhance operational understanding. This role requires a dedicated professional committed to delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
