Requirements
The Technical Project Manager is critical in overseeing the planning, development, and implementation of our technical projects, ensuring they align with our strategic goals and customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, solution architecture experience, excellent project management skills, and a passion for driving innovation.
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
- Utilize your technical knowledge to provide guidance and support to project teams, ensuring the successful implementation of products, bespoke SaaS solutions, and cloud services.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to allocate resources effectively and ensure project milestones are met.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating project outcomes and incorporating lessons learned into future projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management, preferably within a SaaS or cloud services environment within the Public Sector.
- Experience working with Agile frameworks and Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Trello)
- Proven experience managing complex technical projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies, especially AWS.
- Development background experience preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, Agile, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Healthcare industry and regulatory requirements (i.e. HIPAA)
- Solution Architecture experience is a plus.
